Hi! I’m Karin Joy, founder and operator of Illuminate Health. I am a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience in acute care settings, including Labor & Delivery and the Operating Room. Throughout my nursing career, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals and families during some of life’s most vulnerable and meaningful moments. Those experiences shaped not only my clinical skill set, but also my deep respect for compassionate, patient-centered care.

After many years in the hospital environment, I reached a point where the current model of healthcare no longer aligned with the way I felt called to serve. I am so grateful for the years of working in trauma treatment, but found myself inching toward health and wellness, holistic and preventative. Through prayer and discernment, I followed the Lord’s leading to step out in faith and establish my own business one built on integrity, sustainability, and balance.

This transition allowed me to create a flexible practice that honors both professional excellence and personal well-being. By partnering with trusted organizations and companies, I am able to provide high-quality nursing services while maintaining a healthier work life balance and a schedule that supports longevity in care. I have partnered with Relaty, a nationwide company providing RNs the ability to own/operate their own local neurofunctional pain management practice.
